Anyway I finally got her card made and mailed out. She loves to iceskate, so every year I try to make her at least one iceskating card. I love this image from Bugaboo. But my favorite thing about this card is the embossing folder, its Northerrn Flurry, my ultimate favorite folder from StampinUp. It makes a beautiful card even by itself.

i used to ice skate. started at age 5 when our driveways froze and the neighborhood kids all got their skates out. i liked it so much mother signed me on for lessons. i actually skated with the L.I. Rangers. haven't skated since the 80's and i'm sure my ankles would cave now. but i still have fond memories.
