One of my nurses was in a car accident last week, car totaled but she is OK! When she got into the ER they discovered that aside from being banged up she had pneumonia. Needless to say she is pretty ill, I talk to her daily and as a typical nurse she is asking me how her patients are.
I thought this card might cheer her up, especially since she is a dog lover. Image is an oldie by DeeDee, colored with Copics, Basic grey DP, Tim Holtz distress inks, Spellbinders die cut, lace and bling and button from stash. I love how the sentiment is on a tag that goes into a hidden pocket inback of the image.
Challenges:
Perfect Sentiments: Get well without get well....

Absolutely love this image by Nana Vick. I love vintage/shabby so when I saw that that was an option for the Crafter Digital Art Center Progressive Challenge I grabbed it. I think the image speaks for itself so I just printed it on Kaiser Kraft Sweet Nothings Paper. Colored the bird with Copics, little glitter on the wing. Heart was distressed with Tim Holtz Broken China and Perfect pearls. Added ribbon, pearls and good to go.

I participated in a pretty fun challenge over at "Magic in the Air, Paper Cupcakes" (badge to the right) The challenge was to CASE a card from her DT. I can honestly say this was difficult, her DT is very talented and I was overwhelmed by the many options. I chose to CASE Kathy, "Daffodil Greetings, #3 card. I loved her sketch and I really like how black really offsets a card, and she used my favorite punch!

Finally.... My cousin got married a month ago, I'm late with the card but I think she will love it!
The Bride and Groom is a Die Cut from Archivers, I shadowed the couple with my Copics, C1 and C3.
The DP is from 7 Gypsy's it was plain white so I distressed the inside with Hero Arts stamp and Tim Holtz, Pumic Stone and Soot to get a grey background. The embossing folder is Tied Together, from couture Creations. Silk butterfly is from stash, and the flower is from Prima, but I colored it with Copics, then Glimmer mist to get a silvery/grey color.
Sentiment is from Hero arts, heat embossed on black ribbon.
Challenges:
Perfect Sentiment: Monochrome with thoughts
Outlawz: Twisted Thursday: Wedding Twist
AnnaBelle Stamps: Stamped Background
