Not that I want winter but I'm really enjoying this cooler weather.  Even though I detest winter I love winter scenes

This stamp is awesome, its from Memory Box, "Autumn Tree Landscape"  I use it quite often for fall/winter even spring projects.  The background was created when I fngerpainted with Tim Holtz, Broken China,  Chipped Saphire and Pumic Stone distress Inks.  The bear is from Outlawz, Freebie Challenge.

Absolutely LOVE this color combo!  I also need to remember to emboss over stamped images, love the effect.

Card stamped with Mixed Bouquet by Stampin UP., with  Midnight Muse, Gumball Green and SummerStarfruit.  Finishing touch was to use the coordinating Blossom Punch to crop an "opening" and tuck a piece of Midnight Muse polka dot patterned paper under.

I love it when I have no clue what I'm doing, then when I'm done I love the results!

I thought this digi by Anne at Outlawz was too busy to color, but I did not want black/white.  I tried the mosaic look and immediately loved the outcome. Used Spellbinders for my die  cut on the face of the card, white paper under to match the color,  Stampin Up Miss You,  really like this font.  Ribbon, button, bling from stash.

We had a local resident of McHenry County run The SteepleChase at the Olympics today. It was so exciting to see someone we knew competing at that level.  My two oldest kids did track at CaryGrove HS,  they often competed against Jager,  all they could say was"  That kid is amazing," as he blew past everyone.

Between errands and the Olympics I did get some playtime in.  I have been dying to try this "triple stamping effect"  ever since I saw a few cards made with it on the internet.  Its so easy yet it looks difficult.  Next time I think I'm gonna pop up the second layer for added dimension.

I played with the sunflower stamp from StampinUP, Reason to Smile, used Espresso ink and paper.  ribbon from stash.
