Absolutely love this image by Nana Vick.  I love vintage/shabby so when I saw that that was an option for the Crafter Digital Art Center Progressive Challenge  I grabbed it.   I think the image speaks for itself so I just printed it on Kaiser Kraft Sweet Nothings Paper.  Colored the bird with Copics, little glitter on the wing.  Heart was distressed with Tim Holtz Broken China and Perfect pearls.  Added ribbon, pearls and good to go.

I participated in a pretty fun challenge over at "Magic in the Air, Paper Cupcakes" (badge to the right) The challenge was to CASE a card from her DT.  I can honestly say this was difficult,  her DT is very talented and I was overwhelmed by the many options.  I chose to CASE  Kathy, "Daffodil Greetings, #3 card.  I loved her sketch and I really like how black really offsets a card, and she used my favorite punch!

My image was "Sending Love by Nina at Paper Cupcakes.  Colored with Prisma, Gamisol for shading.  I used Glossy Accents to make the balloons shine.  I LOVE my flower!!!  Tim Holtz Tattered Flowers cut from Crepe Paper, and a found a balloon bling for the center to match the card.  DP is all from Basic Grey, Life's a Party

I remember begging my parents to buy me these lollipops when ever I saw them.  I don't think I really liked to eat them but I LOVED the gorgeous colors.

Recycled items,  Lace is from an old sweater, (Im always pulling clothing apart) tag is cut from a wax paper bag, (the color matched my bear), and MOM was cut with quickuts out of a piece of paper that I colored with my copics, never used and I dug out of my waste basket because it matched the bears dress (My waste basket is clean just loaded with scraps of paper, LOL)
