We have an exchange student from Germany visiting us. It is so much fun and he is WONDERFUL!!! Today was a quite day, we have been running around like crazy all week. He just wanted to relax today so I got to play.

I love love love this Fall image from Faith at Designed 2 Delight, (Badge to the right) Its part of her progressive challenge. I colored it with Copics, used Tim Holtz inks for distressing and made a pocket card with my Cricut. Pretty easy, next time I think Ill cut out little hearts as falling leaves. That would be cute.

I made my own card pattern by taking a 12x12 paper, cutting it in half and just folding, then added layers. I used Tim Holtz Rock Candy on the Moon for shimmer, bling on the hat, my bats and stars also shimmer, their from Michaels.

I must admit that I am DEADLY afraid of spiders. Even the fake ones scare me to death. This spider is from MarthaStewart, and my husband had to peel its legs off the acetate because it creeped me out!

I love making Halloween cards, and when I saw this image by Daisy Doodles I thought of a giant web. I embossed the background web with my Sizzix embossing folder and added Tim Holtz Weathered Wood. the inside web is cut from my Quickuts die, the baby spiders are from Michaels.

I just love this dig from Glitterbabe, (Badge to right) Its Big Butt and comes with a great saying as well.
I made this card for My BFF birthday, we've been friends since HS Algebra class, The inside reads, "Aged to Perfection" Happy Birthday.

I used my Copics to color, liquid pearls on the buttons and stickles on the bonnet and bracelet. I made my own ribbon with seam binding and tattered angles, then crinkled it until it dried. All dies are from Tim Holtz, i cut 3 butterflies and layered them to add some dimension. The dig is hand cut the popped up. Best Buddies was added as my tag/sentiment.

Hard to imagine how time flies.

As a combined family we did a huge family picnic in the early Fall, one last chance for our kids to get together and enjoy the beautiful weather. Its hard to believe that these cute kids are now in college or almost there.

I love this image from Faith at D2D, Badge on left. It made me remember all those good fall days of kids playing in the autumn sun and playing with the falling leaves, not to mention pumpkins and apples.

Colored with copics, words cut with my Gypsy. all else from my never ending pile of stash.

Happy October. As we all know October is breast Cancer awareness month. Im always touched when I see the support and love that comes with this month and the symbol of a pink ribbon. We really need to keep the awareness and support going all year long.

As a nurse I see first hand the devastation this illness causes. We need to be aware of all the colors of ribbon out there for all the types of CANCER. We need to solve this puzzle before it touches our children, grandchildren etc.

Thanks to Stef at Glitterbabe for this freebie digi. There is an awesome Link for Pink challenge that is being sponsored by Touched by a Butterfly, see the Link for Pink badge and join the support.

My aunt was diagnosed with Br CA about 10 months ago. I made this bookmark for her to celebrate her victory.

Tag is from acetate, embossed with my Sizzix Swiss Dots folder. colored with Copics and Stickles to make the ribbon shine.
