When I received this image by Faith at Designed 2 Delight I could not wait to play with it. I thought it would make an awesome birthday card for my BFF, who has a son who is turning 6, He loves monkeys and he loves to fish!!!!
Image is "Fishin Around", colored with Copics, I did the water with diamond glaze, the number 6 is cut from quickutz, yes I used a real fishing hook but I cut the end off, coverd with a glue dot and bling for safety. The punch is from Martha Stewart, "Arch". Everything else is from my stash.

Vintage... Shabby.... Right up my alley! I love the look and I love all the DP and embellishments that go along with it. I even did the inside of the card which for me is pretty rare.
Naturally I had to participate in this challenge by Deedee's digis: Vintage Monday . Usually I do my vintage in browns/blues but I bought some black paper from 7 Gypsies and I love the look. Black flowers and leaves are from Bazzil. All else including crochet lace is from my stash

Card was created for two challenges: Designed2Delight digital stamps (Heartful of Wishes and Double Delight with Designed2Delight digital stamps
Challenge was to create your own embellishments. Initially I was stumped, Im not very creative but after playing with my stash of goodies I was pretty excited and thought of many great ideas.
My snowbank is created from flower petals in antique white and blue. We all have alot of extra flowers, Then I sprayed it with glimmer mist to add sparkle. The Snowflake is cut from Quickutz x3, eack layer popped up with pop dots. Snowflake button and bling in the center add the finishing touch, Love IT!
